wow its been along time

I didnt realize it has been so long since I posted a blog on here. I guess we have just been really busy and I havent had time to set and think about it. The good news is that my wonderful (the best in the world) husband is being baptized december 7th. I am so excited about this. I had a babyshower for my cousin Anna saturday we had a great time. And yesterday was really busy We had to be at church at 9:30 and then we didnt leave till about 12:30. I had to come home and cook to take food to church for last night we had a dinner for our pastors birthday. It was my turn to stay and clean up afterwards but I enjoyed every minute of it. We have a womens group at church and let me just say it is so awesome. We get to do so much for the church and together as agroup it really is amazing how much love and support come from these ladies who make you a part of their family. Well I guess that will be the end of this blog I have a nosy cat named chico that got stuck in a stiky mouse trap so I have to take him to the groomers today.

Shopping day!!

Well today is grocery day for me. I love to go to the grocery store. I have been influenced to put my weekly menu on here by some friends too. They do it and it is really nice to get ideas and recipes from them. I am a big bargain shopper too. With christmas and 2 of my girls and my husbands birthdays coming up we are saving every penny we can. Last night was our ladies night for all of the ladies from church. We had a blast. When you get all of us baptist women together we love to chat so we were there for 2 1/2 hours. James and I were visiting different churches but I wasnt getting the spiritual satisfaction I was looking for so I talked him into go the church I went to as a child and he loved it and so now he is going to become a member there too. We are goin on a couples retreat with our church in feb. I am looking very forward to it . Well I will post my menu and then off to the grocery store.

Full weekend.

Wow talking about a full weekend we had one this past weekend. Of course Halloween was friday so we went and took the girls to a church we had been visiting to a trunk or treat. Then we meet chunks sisters and all the kids at a subdivision and went trick or treating there and finally we made it back home. We had our normal meal of hotdogs with all the trimmings and chips and cupcakes with all of our family we do this every year. Chunk(James) family came ver that was really nice because that got to talk to some of our family that was here. Then saturday was even busier. We had to go the Chunks grandparents to celebrate their 67th anniversary. My mother in law showed me all the dolls her mom had made and they were all so beautiful. When we left there I had to come home and finish a cake for Chunks nephew his birthday was saturday so we went there. Then finally me step moms work has an annual family night we got to go to the aquarium and to the imax and they had stiky fingers catered. it was awesome. Sunday we went to church and then came home we decided to be lazy the rest of the day and it was wonder ful.
